Dr. Marco Garavaglia, the Consul General of Antigua and Barbuda to the Principality of Monaco, has shared encouraging updates on the country’s successful citizenship promotion activities.

During his visit, Dr. Garavaglia had a warm meeting with Prime Minister Gaston Browne, where they discussed a range of topics related to their two countries.

The Consul was accompanied by Dario Item, Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador to Spain, Principality of Monaco, and the Principality of Liechtenstein, which added to the cordial atmosphere of the meeting.

One of the successful promotions that the Consul mentioned was the effort to attract more tourists to Antigua.

The Principality of Monaco’s high-net-worth individuals have shown a keen interest in this half, which makes the promotion activities all the more rewarding.

In light of this, the Consul has proposed promoting Antigua during major events hosted in the Principality, such as the ATP Rolex Master, Formula One GP, and Monaco Yacht Show.

Dr. Garavaglia and the Prime Minister also discussed ocean preservation and global warming, which are common concerns for both Antigua and the Principality of Monaco. They explored the possibility of addressing these issues in a future institutional meeting.

The Consul also reported to the Prime Minister that the Consulate General in the Principality of Monaco is fully functional and is attracting the attention of residents.
